Zessoo is proud to be at London’s first vegan, Zero Waste Market, we committed to the flagship spot at the market to introduce our range as the first step of our world tour. Our range included some of our leaf wallets, jewellery and skincare range.
More on Zessoo and our commitment to zero waste:
No paperwork inside package
We email everything other than the items our customers order, we’re committed to saving paper both in our internal and external processes throughout the business.
Zessoo Packaging
All wallets sold in the UK are wrapped in our Zessoo Paper, this paper is compostable and will sprout to an amazing bunch of wildflowers attracting bees and butterflies. We want to spread the word about wildflowers and how important they are to biodiversity. Some insects rely on only one species of wildflower, for example, and once that wildflower becomes extinct or severely endangered, then so does the life of that insect species. Growing wildflowers in your garden is a small but important step in helping our native wildlife. All worldwide orders are wrapped in our kraft recycled bio-degradable paper, we choose not to use boxes or unnecessary card.
Our logo
We choose to use a small label on our products displaying our brand, we purposely chose not to include a metal logo, although this may look slick, it doesn’t biodegrade and therefore doesn’t meet our mission.
We use Recycled Kraft Mailers
Zessoo 100% Recycled Kraft Mailers are lightweight, affordable, and naturally biodegradable. The robust earthy appeal of these mailers will most definitely garner recognition for your planet-friendly operations and extra eco-efforts!
Zessoo 100% Recycled Kraft Mailers justly demand boasting rights with their whopping 90% post-consumer content. Their DNA is comprised of tenacious, yet lightweight 126# kraft paper — proving themselves true competitors to the plastic mailer in durability.
Not only is this mailer constructed entirely from recovered trash, but once it has made its journey and served its purpose, Zessoo 100% Recycled Kraft Mailers can easily be redeposited back into the paper recycling stream.
Plant-based packing tape
When you are making an honest crack at going green with your packaging, every little transition counts and adds up to a big difference. Zessoo offers several options in eco-friendly carton sealing tape.
Paper or plastic? Plastic tape remains the industry standard because it is the easiest to come by. In place of your ho-hum ‘plastic’ tape, we’ve married a cellophane backing with a natural rubber adhesive crafting the perfect tape. Our Cello Carton Sealing Tape is uniquely and entirely plant-derived, renewable, and naturally biodegradable.
Wind powered servers
All orders on zessoo.com are processed on AWS. In addition to the environmental benefits inherently associated with running applications in the cloud, AWS has a long-term commitment to achieve 100% renewable energy usage for our global infrastructure footprint.
